The tax number is given voluntarily. What § 5 (1) no. 6 DDG would require is only a VAT identification number under § 27a UStG; the association does not hold one.

Consumer dispute resolution
The association is neither willing nor obliged to take part in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board (§ 36 VSBG).
