Right of withdrawal

This is a reading aid. The binding version of this notice is the German one — it follows the statutory model in Anlage 1 to Art. 246a § 1 (2) sentence 2 EGBGB, whose legal effect attaches to that wording. Where the two differ, the German text applies.
We therefore grant you the right of withdrawal regardless of whether we would be obliged to. It applies to the membership you apply for through the form on this website, by e-mail or by letter — that is, without the two of us sitting down together.
You can fill in the membership application online here; how joining works is described under Become a member. That does not yet conclude a contract — the board decides on admission. Nor are there any paid services you could book with us.

Right of withdrawal
You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason.
The withdrawal period will expire after 14 days from the day of the conclusion of the contract.

of your decision to withdraw from this contract by an unequivocal statement (e.g. a letter sent by post or an e-mail). You may use the model withdrawal form printed below, but it is not obligatory.
To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.
Effects of withdrawal
If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (with the exception of the supplementary costs resulting from your choice of a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw from this contract. We will carry out such reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement.
„Costs of delivery" are mentioned because this paragraph reproduces the statutory model word for word (Anlage 1 to Art. 246a § 1 (2) sentence 2 EGBGB). The association ships nothing; no delivery costs arise for you. We nevertheless leave the wording unchanged, because the statutory protection of the model notice applies only where it is used unaltered.
If you requested to begin the performance of services during the withdrawal period, you shall pay us an amount which is in proportion to what has been provided until you have communicated us your withdrawal from this contract, in comparison with the full coverage of the contract.

Donations cannot be withdrawn
A donation is a gift, not a service for consideration. There is no right of withdrawal for it — neither a statutory one nor the one voluntarily granted here.
A plain mistake is a different matter: if you got the amount wrong or transferred money by accident, write to us at kontakt@icd360s.de. We will of course refund it; no right of withdrawal is needed for that. ⚠️ If a donation receipt has already been issued for the donation, please say so — it then has to be corrected.
Declaring a withdrawal online
You can declare your withdrawal directly here. You will immediately receive an acknowledgement of receipt by e-mail stating the time of receipt to the minute — keep it, it is your proof.

This route is optional and replaces nothing: an informal e-mail to widerruf@icd360s.de or a letter is just as effective and meets the deadline the moment you send it. Only providers with whom a contract can be concluded online are obliged to offer an electronic withdrawal function — with us that is not possible, the board decides on the application for membership.
Ending membership independently of withdrawal
Withdrawal is to be distinguished from resigning from the association. Under § 6 (3) of the statutes, resignation is possible with three months' notice to the end of the year. Withdrawal undoes the membership retroactively; resignation ends an existing membership for the future.
The fourteen-day withdrawal period and the three-month notice period stand side by side: whoever withdraws in time is not bound by the notice period.
